Chicago Piranhas

Ryan Sedlack is a sociopathic killer, who was used by the Army and the CIA for 'extreme missions'. In this story Ryan gets involved with Chicago's croooked power system and is almost killed. He attempts to escape to New Mexico but is done in by a member of the Praetorian Guard. Sam Cohen, wizard lawyer, frees one of Ryan's sidekicks, Tim Kallman, from a crime that was committed by Ryan and a subterranean front group, called the Legion of Justice. Sam takes on the entire Chicago power system and wins. All the while there are various romps and affairs centered around Sam's friend and confidant, Melvin Pollard--supreme bartender and secret best selling novelist, Betty Lincoln, ace federal beat reporter and Sam's squeeze, and Sheila Starr, Sam's Secretary and friend and secret love of Mel's. It moves.
