officer went too far in demanding identification from a
passenger in a routine traffic stop." The judge's
opinion made it clear that the action violated the
Fourth Amendment to the U.S. Constitution; the state

Oregon man cleared as FBI admits bungling fingerprint test

The case against Portland OR attorney Brandon Mayfield has
been dropped after the FBI admitted it "misidentified"
his fingerprint as matching one found on evidence from
the Spain train bombings. Mayfield's attorney said that
a civil-rights lawsuit against the U.S. government is
