Colombia: Jail for gossipingAnanova [UK]"A Colombian city has introduced a new law under which people can bejailed for gossiping. Under the law in Icononzo, malicious gossipingis punished with up to a £50,000 fine or four years in prison. A cityspokesman told Terra Noticias Populares: 'People should be aware thatusing their tongues to speak evil is the same as having dynamite inyour mouth.' Mayor Jesus Ignacio Jimenez defended the new law againstcritics who say it is over the top. "Riddler" Frank Gorshin, 1932-2005San Francisco Chronicle"Frank Gorshin, the impressionist with 100 faces best known for hisEmmy-nominated role as the Riddler on the 'Batman' TV series, hasdied. He was 72. Gorshin's wife of 48 years, Christina, was at hisside when he died Tuesday at Providence Saint Joseph Medical Center,his agent and longtime friend, Fred Wostbrock, said Wednesday. 'He putup a valiant fight with lung cancer, emphysema and pneumonia,' Mrs.Gorshin said in a statement. Despite dozens of TV and movie credits,Gorshin will be forever remembered for his role as the Riddler, AdamWest's villainous foil in the question mark-pocked green suit andbowler hat on 'Batman' from 1966 to '69."
